Bull in a China Shop
"Playwright Bryna Turner’s Bull tells the true story of Woolley (1863–1937) and her lover, Jeannette Marks (1875–1964).It’s rich material, solidly delivered. Playwright Turner is a Mount Holyoke alum, so the moments of romance, frustration, confused identity and schoolgirl longing that are peppered throughout feel genuine. The language is contemporary, even if the setting spans the years 1899 to 1937. It allows for the modern, forward-thinking women of the era to still read like rebels." Click here for more details!

"Bari is in a perpetual funk, biding her time at a mind-numbing job shipping Tibetan-themed tchotchkes. Cheerful co-workers Patty and Luanne try to see past her cynical exterior through their Prozac-colored glasses. Will Bari ever leave her parents’ house in provincial upstate New York? Will she finish her dissertation? Will she go on a blind date with a dude who makes art out of garbage? And what’s up with her headaches and the bizarre side-effects? "The witching hour is at hand in the tight-knit community of Salem. Personal vendettas collide with lust and superstition, fueling widespread hysteria. Do witches walk among us, or has revenge created a monster? As paranoia grips the tiny town, reason takes a back seat to fear – and all hell breaks loose in this visceral new production of Arthur Miller’s riveting masterpiece."
