I was born in Beloit, Wisconsin a town that I'm pretty sure isn't known for anything. When I was still very young I went to live with my Dad permanently and that's where the adventures began! We moved to Dallas, TX from Freeport, IL when I was about 4 years old. Dallas is where I cultivated my love for going to church and my love for the Dallas Cowboys! (Yes, I do still believe that they are America's team and will one day rise from the ashes and win the Super Bowl... Judge if you must!)
By the age of 10, my Dad was married and my baby brother was born and life became even more interesting and fun! When I was 12 we had a brief 2 year stay in Illinois and then high tailed it back to Dallas before settling down in Orlando, Florida. No we weren't in the army but we sure did move like we were. At this point I had been to about 9 different schools so being outgoing and funny was the only way I knew to make friends. I quickly realized I had a knack for comedy and school plays and might be on to something. I went to High School at Dr. Phillips High School and my life transformed. After being accepted into the VPA Magnet program for Theatre, I realized that my life had a calling and that come hell or high water I would be an actor.
After 4 years at DPHS I was accepted into The Theatre School at DePaul University for Acting and again my life was transformed. Being back in the Midwest made me feel at ease and I went on to learn from the best teachers in the entire country. While in school I discovered that I had a serious heart problem and had to undergo open heart surgery at the age of 21. Do you think I let that stop me? Of course not! Thanks to a lot of prayers and some amazing support from my family, I made a swift recovery and was able to graduate from college on time and Cum Laude to boot! Since then I've traveled to foreign countries, been in a commercial, done a show Off-Broadway, did an amazing internship in Atlanta, a wonderful Film/TV Intensive in LA and continued to explore my love for the hardest profession in the world... Acting!
I currently reside in Los Angeles, CA but will forever and always consider Chicago, IL as my home.
